Monday we had slow cars/trikes/bikes probably 1/2 of the 11 miles. The weather was great both days … a bit nippy Tuesday AM, but top down sunny both afternoons It’s very much like a slalom course … banked curves left, right,left, right over and over. Once on Monday (South) about 4pm, and twice on Tuesday … North at 10am and South about 4pm. Soooo … back to the Dragon review … Ended up driving the Dragon three times … Each time was in the course of touring around seeing waterfalls, tree colors, GSM Nat.

As we turned onto 28 there was lots of activity (cars/bikes) and both parking lots/stores at the Dragon were packed.

Ate lunch at Tapoco and then (to kill time prior to hotel checking) drove past the South end of the Dragon doing a East /South loop on NC 28 “Moonshiner” to Robbinsville and then to our hotel (Snowbird Mtn. Traveled to the area the 2nd week of October 2022, arriving on Sunday.
